The Graham Norton fronted TV show averaged 6 million viewers per show across its 8 week run. Over a million votes were cast on the last show for Connie to win._Connie was classically trained from the age of 12 and then won a full scholarship to Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She left with a 1st Class honours and won a prize for the highest degree. She was a member of the National Youth Theatre during her teen years (she even toured Japan) and appeared on Jane McDonald's Star for a Night when she was 16
