Originally released in '84, Chess is the collaboration of ABBA's Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus (music) and Tim Rice (lyrics). This "musical drama" contains the Top 10 hit "One Night in Bangkok," performed by Murray Head. A huge success in the U.K., Chess appeared on the U.K. album chart for 4 months - peaking in the Top 10 - and charted a 2nd single, "I Know Him So Well," which held the #1 position in Britain for 4 weeks. Contributing musicians include ABBA familiars Per Lindvall, Lasse Wellander and Rutger Gunnarsson.
