Self Taught Still Learning' is the debut album of Midlands Musical Theatre composer Chris Passey. With songs taken from his concept music 'Bridges' this album is packed full of emotional narrative haunting melodies and the voices of some of the West End and Broadway's best. Profits will be donated equally between Cancer Research and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.Chris has a natural love for Musical Theatre and having trained with the National Youth Theatre pursued this passion straight from Sixth Form College. In late 2006 Chris entered Chicago Rock Cafe's 'Rock Idol' contest judged by Carrie and David Grant. Out of six thousand contestants and several National heats Chris came second to Keith Jack who went on to appear in BBC1's Any Dream Will Do.br /After 'Rock Idol' Chris was cast in Bill Kenwright's UK No.1 touring company of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' as Joseph's youngest brother Benjamin. Chris can be seen performing regularly around the West Midlands in venues such as NIA and Pershore Cathedral.
