In 2006 Connie released her debut album "Favourite Things" and features on the cast album for The Sound of Music and the new West Side Story album. Secret Love is the eagerly awaited second solo album featuring Could Have Danced All Night Memory and of course Secret Love./span_x000D_Connie Fisher rose to fame playing the lead role of Maria in The Sound of Music at The London Palladium having won How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria Andrew Lloyd Webber reality TV show for The BBC. The Graham Norton fronted TV show averaged 6 million viewers per show across its 8 week run. Over a million votes were cast on the last show for Connie to win._Connie was classically trained from the age of 12 and then won a full scholarship to Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She left with a 1st Class honours and won a prize for the highest degree. She was a member of the National Youth Theatre during her teen years (she even toured Japan) and appeared on Jane McDonald's Star for a Night when she was 16
