Guys and Dolls has proved a perennial favourite with audiences it was even made into a film starring Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra. The musical has a book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows and features music and lyrics by Frank Loesser including the classics Luck Be a Lady, Sit Down, Youre Rockin the Boat and My Time of Day. Guys and Dolls tells the story of the 1920s New York City underworld where down on his luck gambler Nathan Detroit makes a bet with seasoned pro Sky Masterson that he cant get the Salvation Armys pious Sarah Brown to go to Havana with him. The show will arrived at the Savoy theatre on the 10th of December following a National tour.
