Make A Wish tells the story of the French orphan who escapes the orphanage to find love and glamour via the chorus line of a Parisian hot-spot. It opened on Broadway in April 1951 and ran for 102 performances. Music and lyrics were by Hugh Martin whose Best Foot Forward and Look Ma, Iâm Dancing had previously been successful on the old white way.
