Collaborating with Tutti Camarata, the producer and musical director at Disneyland Records, Broadway star Mary Martin recorded the 1958 album 'Hi-Ho' featuring a number of then Disney standards from such films as 'Snow White', 'Pinocchio' and 'Bambi'. Mary's 'Hi-Ho' album now makes its debut on CD.br /The album is accompanied with a generous selection of rare bonus tracks including her 1958 Christmas single "Making Believe It's Christmas Eve", recorded for Disneyland Records.br /Also included are selections from the privately issued faith album 'Guideposts For Living' (released in 1962) and Mary's 1962 Capitol Records single "Daughter Of Silence". All tracks make their debut on CD and have been digitally remastered.br /Mary Martin is most often associated with her work for Rodgers and Hammerstein, originating the roles of Nellie Forbush in 'South Pacific' and Maria Von Trapp in 'The Sound Of Music'. However Mary also had a long-standing association with the Walt Disney Company, recording several albums and singles for their Disneyland record label in the 1950s and 1960s.br /The release continues Stage Door's 'Collector's Series', a line of limited edition CD products presented in the retro style of a miniature long-playing record.
