Nova had the idea of recording a musical theatre CD for children after having her first child Melody in the Summer of 2009. During the first few weeks of broken nights Nova would sing her favourite musical ballads to soothe Melody back to sleep. Now Melody is older she still enjoys some gentle songs after her bath and bedtime milk and tries to join in! Nova has found singing useful at other times such as mealtimes or nappy changes when a distraction has proved very useful. Hopefully if Melody follows her onto the stage in a few years' time she will already know the words to most of the songs! Nova is an experienced musical theatre and cabaret performer and has appeared in many West End and touring productions including 'The Phantom of the Opera' 'The sound of music' 'Annie' and 'The King and I'.
