Danny O'Neill (Fred Astaire) and Hank Taylor (Burgess Meredith) prolong their college careers by purposefully failing for seven years in order to continue leading their college swing band. When finally forced to leave school, they get a chance to join up with big band leader Artie Shaw in this hilarious musical comedy also starring Paulette Goddard!
