Following the announcement in the Summer of 2011 that Dress Circle may be faced with closer for financial reasons this album was produced by Danny Davies of Pirate Management over the month that followed. As a tribute to all those who make musical theatre the phenomenon that it is we thought this track was the perfect choice to celebrate Dress Circle and all that it does to support the talent of British actors singers composers lyricists and librettists. An incredible collection of British theatrical talent assembled at The Angel Studios on Tuesday 2nd August 2011 to record 'Shine On Down' in doing so illustrating their support for Dress Circle in an unprecedented fashion.
